Do all your holiday properties have a dishwasher as well as laundry facilities?
Yes. Every one of our Port Douglas holiday homes has a dishwasher and private laundry facilities.
Are there any further taxes or charges above the rental rate?
No. There are no added taxes or any further charges beyond the stated holiday rental rate for your accommodation. Additional items or services ( i.e baby equipment hire or additional housekeeping services ) can be organised for an additional fee.
Is linen included?
Yes. All linen and towels etc are included in the holiday rental rate. We also ensure that your Port Douglas holiday house or holiday apartment also has a â€œstarterâ€ supply of household basics such as dishcloths, detergent, toilet paper, etc. If any further items are needed during your stay you can simply add them to your shopping as required.
Are housekeeping services supplied, and if so then when do these happen?
Yes. A complimentary mid-stay housekeeping service is included for stays or 8 nights or more, and then on a weekly basis for extended holiday bookings. A complete linen change, making of fresh beds and supply of new towels, face-washers etc is included. Please note that our staff do not wash guestsâ€™ dishes on this service.
Are pool towels supplied?
Yes. As well as bath towels we supply separate pool towels for each guest.
Are there basic food items in the kitchen?
We have our housekeeping team leave non-perishables for the use of the next guests. It depends on what has been used and left behind by the previous guests, but often items such as various spices, oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee, tea etc are already there when you arrive.
Will there be a coffee machine in my Port Douglas holiday rental?
Yes. Every one of our Port Douglas holiday villas and holiday apartments includes a coffee machine and guests can simply purchase the ground coffee of their choice to use.
What time is check-in and check-out?
If we have guests departing and arriving again on the same day then check-out is by 10am and check-in is not before 2pm. However, whenever we are able to provide an earlier or later check-in or check-out time for your Port Douglas accommodation, we are more than happy to do so.
Can I bring my pet (eg. cat/dog) along to stay?
Unfortunately, we are not able to have your dog staying in any of our properties not even visiting dogs. Strict rules & guidelines are set in place by the holiday let agencies.
