Rocky Point Retreat
As you slowly awaken the peace is sporadically broken by the calls of birds. Rainbow Lorikeets, Cockatoos, Honey-Eaters, Sunbirds and other colourful tropical varieties flit through the surrounding rainforest. Open your eyes to palms and towering treeferns framing the breathtaking panorama of the Coral Sea, Snapper Island and Daintree Coast. Welcome to your first morning at Rocky Point.

Discreetly nestled at the base of the Daintree, Rocky Point is often an Executive Retreat for the stressed-out who want to clear their heads and get back to nature for a while. Cleverly designed to work in harmony with its prime position on five acres of rainforest, the external structure is so sympathetic to its surroundings you can sometimes forget that the house is there.
The design of the meandering 20 metre long saltwater swimming pool is actually based on a rainforest rock pool and seems a natural extension of the immediate environment. When it's time for a cool plunge, your swimming costume is optional.

The interior space has been kept simple and open, with the main feature being the upstairs bedrooms. The rooms themselves all enjoy a spectacular view across the bay with majestic Thornton's Peak as a backdrop. You may find breakfast in bed lingering on until lunchtime.
Choose from a number of outdoor lounging areas with the terrace covered by a canopy of impressive Jade Vines and Golden Slippers. Then there are massive fan palms, travellers palms, amazing bromeliads, bleeding hibiscus and much more.
This dream escape lies about 25 minutes scenic drive north of Port Douglas, 10 minutes north of historic Mossman township and just minutes from the beach. Don't just sit there, paradise is waiting.
